For this project students learned about stacking, overlapping and cropping. Making sure to overlap different geometric shapes students filled a long rectangular piece of paper, outlined in black then colored them in making sure to switch colors each time their shape overlapped or...hit a wall. The challenge was making sure the background had its own color, which was difficult due to the several colors created. The final step students measured with a ruler lines on the back at 1" each to cut then make their piece of art look as if it were moving.
