2nd Grade: Aboriginal Dot Animals

Students learned about traditional Aboriginal Dot paintings and what animals mean to Australian culture. Using previous knowledge of creating a silhouette students created animals to cut and paste to their pieces of black paper. Using the end of a paint brush students meticulously created colorful dots following design patterns made with construction crayons.
